Zuzenak Itxaropenak to compete in international goalball tournament in Lisbon

The women's goalball team Zuzenak Itxaropenak is set to begin its competitive season with an international tournament in Odivelas, Lisbon, Portugal. This second edition of the event will feature both men's and women's teams.

The Vitoria-Gasteiz-based team faces significant competition, including Portugal's Clube Atlético e Cultural, the German U21 national team, and the Aragón Goalball Club. The team noted the importance of this engagement for the visibility of women's goalball and as a step toward future international connections, such as potential trips to Panama.

Due to changes in federation regulations, the team will not be able to compete in the national league this year.
