Zvezdin Kup 2026 youth judo tournament begins in Belgrade

The fourth annual ‘Zvezdin Kup 2026’ international youth judo tournament has commenced at the ‘Šumice’ hall in Belgrade. The event features more than 600 young female participants from Serbia and neighboring regional countries, alongside competitors in various boy's categories.

Stojan Vujko, President of the Crvena Zvezda Judo Club, officially opened the competition. In his address, he emphasized that judo serves as a ‘school of life’ that teaches discipline, respect for opponents, and resilience. He also noted upcoming events, including the European Team Championship on November 7.

Serbian national representatives Nemanja Majdov, Milica Žabić, and Andrea Stojadinov attended to support the young athletes. Majdov encouraged the competitors to enjoy the experience and learn from the matches to reach the world stage.
