Zvonimir Boban maintains support for Dinamo coach despite derby loss

Dinamo Zagreb president Zvonimir Boban has signaled his continued support for head coach Marijo Kovačević, despite recent pressure from fans following a derby defeat against Hajduk Split. Boban reportedly opposes hasty coaching changes driven by temporary crises, preferring a systematic evaluation of the technical staff at the end of the season.

Separately, Boban has commented on Petar Sučić’s situation at Inter, suggesting the Croatian midfielder should consider leaving if his role does not improve. Inter manager Cristian Chivu responded to these remarks by defending Sučić, stating that the player remains a vital part of his plans and that his limited playing time was partly due to physical recovery following the World Cup.
