Zvornik hosts 10th Drinski književni susreti literary awards

The 10th Drinski književni susreti (Drina Literary Encounters) were held in Zvornik, where several literary awards were presented. Slobodan Ristović from Čajetina, residing in Rogatica, received the first prize for the unpublished poetry manuscript titled ‘Grudno brvno’. In the unpublished prose category, the first prize was awarded to Mirjana Petronić from East Sarajevo.

Dejan Spasojević, director of the publishing house ‘As oglas’, reported that approximately 200 manuscripts were submitted to the competition, consisting of roughly 120 poetry manuscripts and 80 short story collections. The jury selected 10 works in each category for recommendation for publication.

In addition to the competition prizes, special recognitions were handed out: Milica Lilić and Goran Vračar received charters for exceptional contributions to cultural development, while Blagoje Baković was honored with a charter for lifetime achievement.
