Regional tragedies: Fatal car crashes in Trebinje and death of Croatian boxer Jan Morović

Several tragic incidents have been reported across the region. In Trebinje, Bosnia and Herzegovina, a severe collision between a Citroen and an Audi in Zasad polje resulted in the deaths of two young men, V. N. and M. Š. Four other individuals sustained minor injuries in the crash, and authorities have ordered autopsies to determine the exact cause of the accident.

In Croatia, the sporting community is mourning the sudden death of Jan Morović, a prominent boxer and multiple-time Croatian U-22 champion in the heavy category. His club, BK Torcida Split, released an emotional statement describing him as a “champion” and a “brother” who was the first representative of the club on the national team.

Additionally, in Serbia, a man was injured in Merošina after a dispute with a tractor driver escalated into a physical confrontation involving a pitchfork. The victim was treated at the University Clinical Center in Niš.
