ZWAR-Netzwerk celebrates 10 years in Wülfrath

The ZWAR-Netzwerk (Zwischen Arbeit und Ruhestand) is celebrating its tenth anniversary in Wülfrath. To mark the occasion, a commemorative information event will be held on Thursday, October 8, at the AWO hall on Schulstraße.

The network is designed for individuals aged 55 and older to organize leisure activities, implement new ideas, and engage with their community, serving as a resource to combat loneliness in old age. The group operates on a grassroots democratic basis without a fixed membership or board.

Attendees at the anniversary event will hear from Marc Bagusch of the ZWAR central office in Dortmund regarding statewide activities in North Rhine-Westphalia. Representatives from the city of Wülfrath and the AWO will also be present.
