Zwolle road closure begins for underground parking construction

The Luttenbergstraat, a major traffic artery in downtown Zwolle, is scheduled to close for three years starting this Monday. The closure is necessary to facilitate the construction of a new underground parking garage.

Preparations for the closure involved approximately 100 people and included traffic flow analyses to ensure detour routes can handle the redirected volume. Special attention is being given to the movement of emergency services and public transit buses. To manage the transition, traffic controllers will be deployed during the initial weeks to monitor the situation and make necessary adjustments.
