Zwolle youth projects receive €57,000 in subsidies

Stichting Het Hervormd Weeshuis Zwolle has distributed €57,000 across seventeen youth projects in Zwolle during its fourth subsidy round of the year. The funding targets initiatives in education, culture, sports, community work, and youth assistance to help local children and adolescents develop their talents and social connections.

A significant portion of the funds supports children from low-income families. The Jeugdeducatiefonds will assist approximately 2,000 primary school students throughout the school year, while Stichting Kind in Beeld will enable 800 children to participate in the Grote Sinterklaasfeest.

Other notable recipients include Speeltuin De Regenboog in Holtenbroek, which will use the funds to install four new playground structures, including two accessible options for children with disabilities. Additionally, the MUF organization will receive support for the Peperbuskruit mini-festival at Eureka Zwolle, an event organized by and for youth with diverse musical tastes. Other funded projects include initiatives by Stichting Flappus, Sportacrobatiek Zwolle, and various local educational and cultural organizations.
