Zygmunt Solorz settles family dispute over multi-billion PLN empire
Zygmunt Solorz, his wife Justyna Kulka, and their three children—Tobias Solorz, Piotr Żak, and Aleksandra Żak—have reached a confidential settlement to end long-standing legal disputes over their business empire. The family issued a joint statement asserting that the agreement restores unity and a common purpose within the family.
The dispute primarily concerned control over two Liechtenstein-based foundations, TiVi and Solkomtel, which manage assets estimated to be worth between 8.5 and 8.7 billion PLN. These assets include major entities such as the Polsat Plus Group, ZE PAK, Elektrim, and Plus Bank. The settlement follows recent court rulings in Liechtenstein that validated the succession process.
As part of the agreement, Zygmunt Solorz will step back from active management of the family's companies to serve in an honorary advisory capacity. Piotr Żak will continue as president of the Group, while Tobias Solorz and Aleksandra Żak will maintain roles on the supervisory boards. The family has committed to the immediate and unconditional termination of all mutual legal and administrative proceedings in Poland and internationally.
