The 2026 Australian Darts Masters, part of also referred to as the World Series of Darts, KenoGO Australian Darts Masters, is scheduled to take place begin on Friday, August 21–22 21, at the WIN Entertainment Centre in Wollongong, Australia. The event serves as Wollongong. As the final stop before of the 2026 PDC World Series of Darts Finals in the Netherlands. Prior to the tournament, the 16-player field was adjusted after Darren Penhall withdrew due to a shoulder injury requiring surgery. He was replaced by Mal Cuming, the highest-ranked player on Darts, the Australian Darts Association list who had not yet qualified. The competition tournament features sixteen players: eight PDC representatives, including Gian van Veen, Gerwyn Price, James Wade, Jonny Clayton, Stephen Bunting, Josh Rock, Damon Heta, and Ross Smith. High-profile players such as Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, representatives and Michael van Gerwen are not participating. The eight Oceanian qualifiers include seven Australians and one New Zealander, headlined by former European Champion Simon Whitlock, alongside Adam Leek, Raymond Smith, Brody Klinge, Tim Pusey, Joe Comito, Mal Cuming, and Ben Robb. This year marks the first time year, the winner will lift the Kyle Anderson Trophy, which was renamed to honor the late Kyle Anderson, described as “the first Indigenous Australian professional darts player on the global tour.” The tournament follows the New Zealand Darts Masters, where Jonny Clayton secured a victory after defeating Gian van Veen, James Wade, and Gerwyn Price. Clayton enters the Australian event seeking an Oceanic double. Highly anticipated opening matchups include Australian icon and reigning ANZ Premier League champion Simon Whitlock against Gerwyn Price. Whitlock expressed confidence in his form, stating, “If I play my best darts I can beat anyone.” Other notable matchups include world number two Gian van Veen facing Raymond Smith. The competition will be broadcast live on Fox Sports and streamed via Kayo Sports.
