Following the 2026 elections, right-wing political leaders have intensified mobilization efforts across Brazil. In Manaus, Amazonas, a massive rally called ‘Bloco do 22’ drew approximately 150,000 people to the Ponta Negra Tourist Complex. The event featured Senator Flávio Bolsonaro and Federal Deputy Nikolas Ferreira, who appeared in support of Professora Maria, the PL/Novo coalition candidate for Governor of Amazonas. Nikolas Ferreira has also expanded his digital outreach in the Northeast region. He released a video titled ‘The Northeast that was forgotten,’ which features residents discussing grievances related to healthcare, employment, sanitation, and public safety under President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s administration. The video gained significant traction, reaching approximately 50 million views on Instagram within three hours. Following this viral spread, the audio for the video became unavailable on Instagram. Ferreira accused the singer Rubel of requesting Sony to remove the track ‘Grão de Areia’ used in the production, labeling the move as censorship. While Meta confirmed the audio was disabled due to a copyright request, the company did not specify the requester. As the presidential second-round election approached, football star Neymar Jr. publicly signaled support for Flávio Bolsonaro in a video with Nikolas Ferreira. During the clip, Neymar participated in a mathematical wordplay where, when asked what 11 plus 11 equals, he responded “22,” the electoral number for Flávio Bolsonaro. This endorsement occurred just two days before the October 25 election against incumbent President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. Amidst these developments, João Campos, president of the PSB, accused Ferreira of spreading disinformation during his activities in the Northeast. In the aftermath of the elections, Nikolas Ferreira set a historical record by becoming the most voted federal deputy in Brazil, securing over 3.1 million votes.
