The 57th Feria y Festival Cultural Alfeñique will run from 3 ~~October~~ Oct to 2 ~~November~~ Nov 2026 in Toluca, State of Mexico, offering ~~more than~~ over 800 cultural, artistic and recreational activities across venues such as Mercado Juárez, Alameda Central, Plaza Fray Andrés de Castro and Plaza González Arratia. All concerts are free; the lineup is headlined by Los Tigres del Norte, Yuri, Los Ángeles Azules and Santa Fe Klan, with additional acts including El Malilla, Liran’Roll, Trono de México, Alacranes Musical, Lara Campos and three surprise artists to be announced later. Mayor Ricardo Moreno Bastida reiterated the goal of surpassing the 2025 edition, which drew about four million visitors and generated roughly 1.28 billion pesos; the 2026 target is over 1.5 billion pesos. Organisers highlighted the festival as a record‑breaking effort, coordinating with business chambers, civil‑society groups and the community to reach the economic target. The event will also feature an International Pavilion of Nations, a Feria de la Enchilada, a Saitama Fest with Japan as guest nation, and a range of theatre, dance, literature workshops and exhibitions. Director of Education, Culture and Tourism Victoria Sánchez Gómez emphasized reaching more residents, strengthening local identity and providing a safe, family‑friendly environment. Parallel fairs are scheduled in Spain, Portugal and Argentina. On 5 August 2026 the municipal government released the official program, confirming the headline acts and the inclusion of the International Pavilion, Feria de la Enchilada and Saitama Fest, and restating the ambition to exceed the previous year’s visitor and revenue figures.
