2026 WorldSBK season finale at Jerez Circuit

Overview

The 2026 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) concluded at the Jerez-Ángel Nieto Circuit in Spain from October 16 to 18.

While Nicolò Bulega had already secured the WorldSBK title prior to the weekend, he continued his dominant season by winning the Tissot Superpole Round of Spain. This victory marked his 31st win in 35 races, as he finished the sprint race ahead of Iker Lecuona and Sam Lowes, keeping Ducati on track for a potential clean sweep of victories for the 2026 season.

The final round also featured significant performances in the Women’s World Motorcycle Championship. Paola Ramos, riding for the Klint Forward Yamaha team, achieved a dominant weekend by securing Superpole and winning both the Saturday and Sunday races. These results allowed her to finish her first championship season in third place overall with four total victories.

Beyond the racing results, the event marked the end of Pirelli’s 23-year tenure as the sole official tire supplier for WorldSBK. The weekend also served as the final races for Xavi Vierge with Yamaha before his move to Barni Ducati.
