Romania’s August 2026 cultural ~~programme continues to expand with a diverse array~~ calendar features an extensive range of music, film, ~~folklore,~~ and performing arts festivals. Early August highlights included the 31st Sighișoara Medieval Festival, Sibiu’s International Folklore Festival, and the 15th edition of Summer Well at Știrbey, which featured international acts like Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.
