Argentina missing persons searches

Overview

The coordinated nationwide effort to locate missing Argentines continued into early August. On 5 August, the Police Division of Search and Rescue in Chubut Province announced a search for 47‑year‑old Esteban Norberto Stuht, who vanished on 30 June near the Standard Norte neighbourhood of Comodoro Rivadavia. The same day, Chaco Province police issued two missing‑person notices: 42‑year‑old Mauro Fabián Córdoba, last seen on Avenida Urquiza 1665 in Resistencia wearing a green military‑style jacket and black joggers; and 38‑year‑old Enzo Javier Rivero, who disappeared in the town of Puerto Tirol. Both provinces asked the public to provide information through police hotlines, extending the earlier alerts that had covered several other provinces since late July.
