Turkey continues to report a series of fatal and injurious accidents involving various vehicles and machinery, alongside violent criminal incidents across multiple provinces. In İzmir, recent violence includes a shooting in Karşıyaka that left five people wounded during a confrontation between two groups. In Karabağlar, a 27-year-old man, Yaşar Can Güler, was killed following a physical altercation that escalated into fatal strangulation. Security footage reportedly captured the suspect, F. K., striking the victim with a blunt object before the assault; the suspect has since been arrested. Traffic-related casualties remain high. In Beykoz, a collision between a freight truck and a vehicle carrying a film crew resulted in the death of cameraman Deniz Küçükler. In Kahramanmaraş, three healthcare workers remain in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle while responding to a previous rollover on the West Bypass. The driver of the vehicle that hit the medical team was released pending trial, causing backlash from the families of the injured. Other incidents include a fatal agricultural vehicle rollover in Ordu that killed two people and injured 11, and a collision in Karaman involving a minibus and a pickup truck that left four people injured. In Burhaniye, a teacher died after being struck by two vehicles while cycling, and a targeted shooting was reported in Antalya. In that Antalya incident, İlhan Kaval, an employee of the Van Metropolitan Municipality, was killed when an assailant reportedly fired 13 shots at his vehicle; the family suggested a prior feud may be a motive. Recent reports also confirm a fatal stabbing of a 19-year-old in Zonguldak and a crash in Bursa where two security guards died after their car collided with a jeep. Additionally, a bus rollover in Afyonkarahisar resulted in 22 injuries.
