Additionally, Mukerji was conferred an Honorary Doctor of Letters by La Trobe University at Federation Square, making her only the second Indian film personality, following Shah Rukh Khan, to receive the distinction. Mukerji described the recognition as a ‘humbling experience’, noting that cinema serves as a ‘cultural bridge’.
