Japanese and regional automotive manufacturers continue to roll out model updates and new trims across Japan, Indonesia, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom. SUV developments remain a primary focus. Daihatsu has introduced ‘Rugged Venture’ and ‘Active Mode’ special editions for the Taft compact crossover, while Toyota has updated its Corolla Cross lineup with the ‘Z Adventure’ special edition. Toyota’s flagship Crown family continues to undergo mid-cycle refinements. Following updates to the Crossover, Sport, and Sedan models, the Crown Estate is scheduled for a minor update on November 2, 2026, introducing ‘HEV G’ and ‘PHEV Z’ grades to lower entry prices.
