A series of cultural and bullfighting festivals are scheduled across Spain for early September. In the Valencian Community, Utiel will host a major bullfight on September 5 to honor the Virgen del Remedio, featuring Daniel Luque, Emilio de Justo, and Samuel Navalón with bulls from the Araúz de Robles ranch. Following this, Ondara is set to host a novillada on September 6 featuring Simón Andreu, Marco Polope, and Samuel Castrejón. Other regional activities include the start of the bullfighting cycle in Albacete, beginning with a ‘desencajonada’ on September 5. The Feria de Albacete will also feature special bus routes to connect rural areas with the various bullfighting events and novilladas. In Mérida, the Corrida Romana on September 4 has seen high ticket demand for performers including Morante de la Puebla and Portuguese rejonero Marcos Bastinhas. Additionally, Adrián Centenera is scheduled for a presentation at Las Ventas in Madrid on September 6, while a flamenco festival will take place in Ribera del Fresno on September 7. A Community-focused celebrations include the Rei Sol festival in Viladesuso, marking the parish’s 230th anniversary with cultural walks and traditional games. Other events include an agro-livestock fair in Álava to showcase local artisans and farmers, festivities in Zufre honoring Nuestra Señora del Puerto, and a charitable festival in Ledesma is also planned for on October 4. 4 to benefit AERSCYL.
