The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) has announced multiple recruitment drives for various state government roles in late 2026. In late August, the board announced the Group 3 Combined Recruitment Examination to fill 1,700 technical vacancies. These positions include Sub Engineer, Draftsman/Cartographer, Laboratory Technician, Technical Assistant, and Surveyor. Applications for these roles were scheduled to run from August 29 to September 12, 2026, with a computer-based test planned for October 7. Following this, the MPESB announced a recruitment drive for the Madhya Pradesh Police to fill over 500 positions. This includes approximately 312 Sub-Inspector roles for the District Police Force, 81 Subedar posts, and 69 Sub-Inspector roles for the Special Armed Force, alongside technical positions in fields such as fingerprints and photography. Applications for these police roles were scheduled to open on September 9, 2026. Expanding the police recruitment efforts, the MPESB released a notification for 7,500 Constable (General Duty) vacancies. This includes 700 posts for the Special Armed Force (SAF), which are limited to male candidates, and 6,800 posts for other cadres open to both male and female candidates. Online applications for these constable roles are scheduled to be accepted from September 22, 2026, to October 6, 2026, with examinations set to begin on November 19, 2026. A correction window for these applications will remain open until October 11, 2026. Eligibility requires a minimum 10th-grade education, though ST candidates from Madhya Pradesh may qualify with an 8th-grade pass. The selection process involves a written test, physical efficiency test (PET), physical measurement test (PMT), document verification, and a medical examination. On September 18, the MPESB announced an additional 655 positions within the Madhya Pradesh Police Department. These vacancies include Subedar (Stenographer) and Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) roles across General, Special, Field Units, and CID branches.
