Spanish regional authorities are implementing continue to implement various infrastructure, environmental, and social support programs. In the Valencia region, the Generalitat has invested over 21.5 million euros to complete emergency works in more than 60 educational centers following the 2024 DANA floods. In Torrevieja, authorities are moving forward with a €1.34 million bidding process for rehabilitation works at CEIP Virgen del Carmen. Other regional efforts include a 50,000 euro riverbank preservation project in Guadalajara to prevent flooding. In Andalusia, authorities have allocated 1.7 million euros to support farmers affected by storms and 560,000 euros for infrastructure in Berja. Additionally, the ‘Parque Natural’ brand is expanding, with Cádiz leading the region in certified companies.
