Various cultural, community, and culinary events are being held continue to take place across different regions of the Czech Republic. In late August and early September, activities included the 28th International Mounted Police Meeting in Ostrava, featuring riders from several Czech cities and international units, as well as the Small Puppet Festival at Police Castle. By mid-September, the focus shifted to the Olomouc Region, which Region hosted a series variety of food and beverage festivals, including festivals. These included an Oktoberfest in at the Poděbrady u Olomouce and swimming pool, a Food Fest in Olomouc. Olomouc featuring Michelin-recognized businesses, and an Oktoberg festival in Řepčín showcasing craft beers. Other regional activities included firefighter demonstrations, agricultural open houses, seasonal bazaars, and various musical concerts such as Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, and kite festivals. By early October, activities expanded into the Břeclav region. Scheduled events included the ‘Kotle hoří dál’ gastro event, an Oktoberfest in Valtice, and a cimbalom music evening at Château Valtice. Other local activities featured folk music, pumpkin carving, and running races in the Lednice-Valtice area. In the Olomouc region, programming shifted toward charity and seasonal themes, including a soup charity benefit at Horní náměstí to support the ‘Kup oběd’ project, the Flora exhibition, and Halloween-themed festivities such as haunted cellar tours at Plumlov Castle.
