Various art exhibitions are scheduled to take place across Italy in late 2026. In Rome, exhibitions include Renata Solimini’s ‘Oltre ogni confine’ at Galleria Vittoria, which explores metaphysical and existential dimensions through paintings and sculptures. Another Roman exhibition, ‘Un sacco belle’ at Il Margutta Veggy Food & Art, uses digital décollage to merge pop culture icons with Renaissance and Baroque styles. Additionally, the Museo Storico della Fanteria In Perugia, Marco Balucani will host ‘Renato Guttuso – Anima mediterranea,’ present a collection of sixty works spanning the 1930s to solo exhibition titled ‘Oltre lo sguardo’ at the 1980s. New major Tangram showroom, featuring experimental painting styles. Major exhibitions are set to begin in Rome on October 9, 2026. Villa Medici will display Francis Picabia’s 1909 work, ‘Paesaggio’, until January 18, 2027, highlighting his transition toward abstraction. This display coincides with the ‘Picabia. Aprire le porte della notte’ exhibition at the Palazzo Reale in Milan. Simultaneously, the Scuderie del Quirinale will host an exhibition dedicated to the Mannerist painter Pontormo through February 7, 2027. Curated by Cristina Acidini and specialists, the Pontormo show features works from international institutions such as the Louvre and Louvre, the National Gallery, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Getty Museum, including ‘Visitazione’, ‘Cena in Emmaus’, and ‘Ritratto di Alabardiere’. In Perugia, Marco Balucani Additionally, the Museo Storico della Fanteria dell’Esercito Italiano will present a solo exhibition titled ‘Oltre lo sguardo’ at host ‘Renato Guttuso – Anima mediterranea’ from October 17, 2026, to February 28, 2027. Curated by Vittorio Sgarbi and Marina Giordano, this retrospective features approximately 60 works—including oils, drawings, watercolors, and engravings—spanning the Tangram showroom, featuring experimental painting styles. 1930s to the 1980s. The collection is organized into five thematic sections: Faces, Sicily, Still Life, Artist and Society, and The Feminine.
