Local community and cultural events in Italy

Various Italian municipalities are hosting a range of seasonal, cultural, and community-focused events during early October 2026.

In Pisa, the ‘Pisa, Pinocchio e il Borgo dei Balocchi’ event is scheduled for October 3 in the historic center. The celebration includes Pinocchio-themed cosplay, games, and a special recognition for actor Andrea Balestri, noted for his role in the classic television series.

Terlizzi is celebrating the Feast of the Madonna del Rosario through the ‘Vicoli in Fiore’ initiative, which uses artistic arrangements to transform the historic center into a floral path. In Gualdo Tadino, the Porta Nova shopping center is launching autumn activities, including weekend games for children and a ‘Spendi & Rispendi’ promotion offering 10 euro vouchers for specific purchases.

Other regional activities include the return of the Saturday market to the Madonna delle Grazie area in Teramo, upcoming Christmas markets in Asiago, and autumn-themed agricultural markets in Forlì. Additionally, Falconara Marittima has announced ‘Falconara in vetrina’ for October 11, an initiative to support local commerce via public square displays, street performances, and family activities. Other community initiatives include a charity football tournament in Caiazzo and enhanced security for the Fiere di San Luca in Treviso.
