As the Indiana high school football regular season concludes, the state has transitioned into the IHSAA postseason tournament. The tournament has commenced with sectional play across Classes 1A through 4A. Notable matchups include a Class 2A game between second-ranked South Putnam (9-0) and seventh-ranked Cascade, which pits the defending Class 3A and Class 1A state champions against each other. In higher classifications, Franklin Central at Southport is the sole Class 6A game, while Greenfield-Central at Mt. Vernon is the only Class 5A matchup. In the Power 25 rankings, Brownsburg has maintained its No. 1 position. Following a 38-3 victory over Zionsville, Brownsburg extended its winning streak to 28 games. Warren Central remains undefeated at No. 2. Other top-ranked teams include Westfield at No. 3 and Center Grove at No. 4. Earlier in the season, Northridge completed a perfect 9-0 regular season by upsetting the No. 1 ranked Warsaw Tigers 37-30. Led by first-year head coach Luke Amstutz, the Northridge Raiders secured their second Northern Lakes Conference championship via a fourth-quarter comeback driven by quarterback Jake Scholl, which included a successful trick play known as ‘Circus’. Additionally, Greencastle quarterback Cole Stevens, a Lehigh commit, is approaching the Indiana career passing yards record. During the final weeks of the regular season, Brownsburg and Warren Central both maintained undefeated 7-0 records. Brownsburg secured its top ranking with a 38-14 win over Westfield, while Warren Central held the No. 2 spot following a 53-37 victory over Lawrence North. In the postseason opening round, Franklin Central advanced in Class 6A with a 43-0 shutout of Southport, and Mt. Vernon (Fortville) won the Class 5A play-in against Greenfield-Central 34-18. High-scoring sectional performances included Knightstown scoring 84 points and Salem winning by an 80-point margin.
