Multiple shooting incidents occurred in Georgia during late 2026. In September, a verbal argument between co-workers in Henry County escalated into a murder-suicide in the South River Manor subdivision. During the incident, 43-year-old Kuilang Wang allegedly opened fire on two colleagues, killing Yuan Su and wounding Bo Li, before dying from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. In October, a separate incident in Douglas resulted in five deaths. Police On October 9, authorities responded to gunfire in the Touchton Woods neighborhood, an active shooter call at a residence where they discovered five victims with gunshot wounds. Authorities are treating the event as four adults dead. A fifth victim, a suspected murder-suicide involving one man who allegedly fired woman, later died at a local hospital. Douglas Police Chief Brannen Pruette stated the deceased were immediate family members living in the home. Investigators believe a male assailant shot four others individuals before taking his own life. Notably, one victim had placed an emergency call earlier that day, reportedly complaining that her husband was ‘killing her with the smoke’ from his cigarettes. Local officials have highlighted these events, alongside other recent shootings in Vienna and Macon, as part of a ‘concerning pattern of violence’ across the state.
