SEGA has announced upcoming content for the video game Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. In early October 2026, the company scheduled the release of the Avatar Legends DLC pack for October 14, 2026. This expansion, which concludes the game’s first year of additional content, includes characters Aang and Katara, a new vehicle named Gliding Air, and the Lion Turtle Island racing track. Following this, SEGA revealed a second-year development roadmap beginning November 3, 2026. This roadmap features a new 1v1 Duel Mode including a ‘Duel Boost’ mechanic, 15 new gadgets, and a ‘Grand Master Plate’ that provides a seventh Super Slot for items. The Year Two Season Pass, priced at $29.99, will consist of six paid crossover DLC packs scheduled through late 2027. These include the Godzilla Pack (November 2026), an Evangelion pack (January 2027), a Virtual Sanrio Puroland pack (Q2 2027), a SEGALAND pack (Q3 2027), a Midgar Pack featuring Final Fantasy VII Remake content (Q3 2027), and a Persona-series pack (Q4 2027). To support these updates, SEGA is implementing permanent price reductions for the base game and the digital deluxe edition. Free content updates are also planned, featuring characters such as Bayonetta and Aigis from Persona 3 Reload, as well as a McLaren Racing collaboration. On October 14, 2026, the Avatar Legends Pack officially launched. The pack is available for $5.99 USD as a standalone purchase, though it is included for Digital Deluxe Edition owners. To celebrate the release, SEGA is hosting an ‘Avatar Legends festival’ from October 15 through October 18, allowing players to earn in-game rewards like decals and gadgets.
