Recent reports indicate multiple road collisions across various regions of Turkey. In Mardin, a collision involving two automobiles left six people injured; all victims were transported to hospitals following medical intervention. This follows a previous incident in the same province involving a similar two-car collision. In Istanbul’s Arnavutköy district, a car lost control on a curve and struck a horse, killing the animal. The impact caused a second horse to panic, throwing its rider. Three people, including the driver and two riders, sustained injuries and were taken to local hospitals. In Bursa’s İnegöl district, a rear-end collision between two cars resulted in three injuries. One driver, a 23-year-old man, was discharged from the emergency department in a wheelchair. In İzmir’s Konak district, an elderly driver lost control of a vehicle, striking a sidewalk and a local business. While the incident caused significant property damage to the shop and nearby vehicles, no injuries were reported. Earlier reports also noted an accident in Burdur at the Dostluk Junction involving an intercity passenger bus and a car, which resulted in two injuries. Newer reports have added a fatal incident in Antalya’s Akseki district, where an elderly couple’s car plunged 15 meters into a cliff near the Oymapınar Dam. The 85-year-old driver, Ahmet Şen, died, while his wife, Teslime Şen, was injured and hospitalized. Additionally, a fatal motorcycle accident was reported in Istanbul’s Güzeltepe area, and a cargo truck crashed into a garden in Sultangazi. Further fatalities have been reported in Istanbul. In Eyüpsultan, a motorcyclist, Yakup Özdoğan, died after colliding with a commercial vehicle and being struck by another car. In Gaziosmanpaşa, 41-year-old Canan Erdoğan died after shielding her two children from an out-of-control minibus that veered onto a sidewalk.
