The Italian Association of Referees (AIA) has released official designations for upcoming matchdays in the 2026/2027 Serie A and Serie B seasons. In early October, Davide Di Marco was appointed to officiate the match between Vicenza and Pisa at the Romeo Menti stadium. For the 9th matchdays scheduled for late October, the AIA announced assignments for both leagues. In Serie A, officials include Doveri for Genoa vs. Juventus and Pairetto for Venezia vs. Inter. In Serie B, Daniele Chiffi has been named to officiate the match between Pisa and Palermo. For the ninth round of matches, which consists of midweek fixtures scheduled between Tuesday, October 27, and Thursday, October 29, the AIA confirmed several high-profile assignments. In Serie A, Ermanno Feliciani will serve as the main referee for Roma hosting Cagliari. Other notable Serie A fixtures include Sassuolo vs. Lazio, Torino vs. Como, Milan vs. Bologna, Monza vs. Napoli, and Fiorentina vs. Atalanta. Rosario Abisso has also been appointed for the Frosinone-Lecce match. In Serie B, alongside the Pisa vs. Palermo match officiated by Daniele Chiffi, Rapuano has been assigned to the Mantova-Cremonese match, and Perenzoni will officiate Vicenza-Modena. Additional Serie B fixtures for this midweek round include Virtus Entella vs. Avellino.
