Cultural events in Brazil

Various cultural performances and free concerts are scheduled across different regions in Brazil. In late October, the Grupo Oficina de Teatro Bem Viver scheduled the play ‘Os Vaidosos’ in Indaiatuba, while the Camerata di Venezia planned free concerts in Nova Veneza and Criciúma, featuring works by Vivaldi and other genres.

Subsequent events include a jazz and blues performance by Taryn Szpilman in Santo André. In Santa Catarina, upcoming highlights include a performance by Ana Castela in Brusque on November 7, and the Festival Santa Catarina Canta in Florianópolis on November 8, featuring Sérgio Reis and the duo Fernando and Sorocaba.

The 19th edition of Folianópolis concluded on November 1 at the Passarela Nego Quirido in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina. The three day event featured a Halloween theme and various Brazilian musical genres, such as axé, samba, and pagode. The final night included performances by Bell Marques, Xanddy, and the group É o Tchan. Other artists participating in the festival included Banda Eva, Léo Santana, Psirico, Claudia Leitte, and Timbalada. The event featured tributes to Netinho and the late Marília Mendonça, and marked the final appearance of Felipe Pezzoni as the vocalist for Banda Eva.
