In October, Jakub Menšík defeated Francisco Cerúndolo in three sets at the Shanghai Masters, advancing to the round of 16. This victory marked Menšík’s first win against Cerúndolo. By November, Juan Manuel Cerundolo secured a place in the main draw of the Paris Masters by defeating Miomir Kecmanović in a three-set qualifying final. The match lasted two hours and 35 minutes, with Cerundolo winning 6:4, 6:7 (6:8), 7:6 (8:6). Later in the Paris Masters, Francisco Cerúndolo, the 16th seed, was forced to withdraw from his first-round match against Arthur Rinderknech due to severe back pain. After taking the first set 6-3, Cerúndolo lost the second set in a tie-break and retired during the third set with the score at 6-3, 6-7 (2), 0-2. This injury marks the end of his competitive season.
