Multiple traffic accidents across Turkey have resulted in various injuries. In the Bolu Mountain Tunnel, a truck struck a car, causing it to overturn and injuring four people. Initial reports indicated the truck driver fled the scene, but subsequent updates confirm that gendarmerie forces intercepted and took the driver into custody for questioning. Other incidents reported include a three-vehicle pileup in Manavgat involving an intoxicated driver, a pedestrian struck in Serik, a motorcycle collision in Manavgat, and a vehicle plunging into a stream in Hatay. In Düzce, a light commercial vehicle crashed into a truck near the Gümüşova Organized Industrial Zone, requiring firefighters to rescue three trapped individuals. On the Kırıkkale-Ankara highway near the Hacıbalı Organized Industrial Zone, a multi-vehicle pileup involving four cars caused significant traffic delays. The collision occurred when a vehicle stopped suddenly, triggering a chain reaction with three subsequent vehicles. Seven people were injured and transported to local hospitals, including Yüksek İhtisas Hospital and the Faculty of Medicine Hospital, though authorities reported none of the injuries are life-threatening. Preliminary assessments suggest the following drivers failed to maintain a safe following distance. Police and gendarmerie have launched an investigation.
