The 24th Eolie Running Tour, a five-stage road running event across the Aeolian archipelago, began on the island of Panarea. The opening stage featured a 3.5 km course in technical, hilly terrain and high temperatures, with Antonino Lollo and Valerie Woodland winning the men’s and women’s races respectively. The competition progressed to its third stage in Stromboli, which consisted of a 6.5 km circuit. Despite steep climbs and intense heat, Antonino ~~Lollo and~~ Lollo, representing Gruppo Alpinistico Vertovese, won the men's race with a time of 20:53, while Valerie Woodland of Atletica Villafranca secured ~~victories~~ the women's victory in ~~their respective categories.~~ 27:30. The tour ~~is scheduled to continue~~ concluded with ~~stages~~ its fifth and final stage in ~~Salina~~ Vulcano. Antonino Lollo emerged as the overall winner in the men's category, completing the 6.3 km circuit to Lentia in 20 minutes and ~~conclude~~ 33 seconds. In the women's category, Patrizia Garbujo of the Hrobert Running Team secured victory with a time of 26 minutes and 51 seconds. The event, organized by Polisportiva Europa Messina, saw 90 participants compete across segments in Panarea, Lipari, Stromboli, Salina, and Vulcano.
