The 59th Brasília Film Festival (Festival de Brasília do Cinema Brasileiro) commenced following a period of uncertainty regarding its financial viability. Additionally, the ‘Visita 360’ project from the Federal Senate has been integrated into the program, utilizing virtual reality technology to allow visitors to interactively explore the historical legacies of Brazilian political figures such as Abdias Nascimento, Darcy Ribeiro, and Eunice Michiles.
