8Bitdo gaming peripheral product launches

Overview

8Bitdo has expanded its product offerings through new licensed hardware releases. The company launched the ‘Forest Wonder’ collection on Amazon, which features retro-style Xbox-licensed peripherals including the Retro 87 Mechanical Keyboard and the Retro R8 Wireless Mouse.

Following this, 8Bitdo announced a collaboration with Crystal Dynamics to release special edition controllers commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Tomb Raider franchise. This collection includes the Pro 3 Bluetooth Gamepad, inspired by the ‘Lost Valley’ level, and the Ultimate 3 Controller for Xbox, which features a gold metallic directional pad. Both models are scheduled for release on November 13, 2026.

The Tomb Raider collection features technical upgrades such as TMR analog sticks to prevent stick drift and Hall-Effect impulse triggers. The Ultimate 3 Controller for Xbox, compatible with Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One, is priced at 109.99 Euro and includes a themed charging station. The Pro 3 Bluetooth Gamepad, designed for Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, Windows, SteamOS, and mobile devices, features magnetic ABXY buttons that can be swapped for different platform layouts. This model is priced at 79.99 Euro and also includes a themed charging station.

In addition to the anniversary controllers, 8Bitdo has introduced the FlipPad, a compact accessory for mobile gaming. Available on Amazon for approximately 35.70 Euro, the FlipPad attaches to iPhone and Android devices via a rear clip and USB-C connection. It is designed for vertical mobile gaming, providing physical buttons to replace touch controls while remaining compatible with most phone cases.
