ABA League 25th anniversary celebrations

NBA star Nikola Jokić was recognized with the ‘ABA League Icon’ award, topping a list of the 25 greatest players in league history with 94.3 percent of the votes. Posthumous awards were also presented to Dejan Milojević, referred to as ‘Mr. MVP’, and commentator Edin Avdić.

Participants, including Budućnost president Dragan Bokan, discussed the league’s history, its role in connecting the Western Balkans despite cultural differences, and the future challenges facing European basketball, such as organizational structures and commercialization.
