ABEMA anime anniversary broadcasts
Overview
The streaming service ABEMA has announced several free anime marathon broadcasts to commemorate series anniversaries.
To mark the anniversary of the original premiere of ‘Neon Genesis Evangelion’, ABEMA will broadcast all 26 episodes of the series for free over two consecutive days starting October 4. The episodes will remain available on the platform for one week following the event.
Additionally, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of ‘Konosuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!’, the platform will launch a ‘Konosuba ABEMA Channel’ on October 9. This initiative, part of the ‘KADOKAWA ABEMA Anniversary Anime Selection’ project, will feature five days of free daily broadcasts including three TV seasons, a spin-off series, and a film. These titles will remain available for two weeks after the initial broadcast period. A related exhibition is also scheduled for October 12 in Akihabara.
