Abu Dhabi tourism initiatives for Indian travelers

Overview

The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has introduced a new travel initiative targeting Indian tourists. From August 1 to October 31, 2026, Indian passport holders can receive complimentary UAE entry visas when booking a minimum three-night stay in Abu Dhabi through participating travel partners or online travel agencies.

As part of a pilot period, DCT Abu Dhabi will cover visa costs, valued at AED 285 per person, for up to 20,000 visas. To qualify, travelers must book at least three consecutive nights in an Abu Dhabi hotel and include a return flight from India. Abdulla Yousuf, Director of International Operations at DCT Abu Dhabi, noted that India is one of the department’s “most important international markets.” The program is available exclusively through participating travel partners and DCT-appointed Destination Management Companies.
