AC Milan football match results

AC Milan achieved recent victories across different levels of the club. In the Primavera 1 championship, Milan Primavera ended a three-match losing streak with a 2-0 win over Cagliari, moving to eighth place in the standings.

In Serie A, AC Milan maintained an unbeaten streak through seven matches following a 3-2 victory over Atalanta at San Siro. This win moved the club up to fourth place in the league standings. Goals from Gonçalo Ramos, who opened the scoring with a penalty in the 24th minute, Adrien Rabiot in the 43rd minute, and Mario Gila in the 57th minute provided a commanding 3-0 lead within the first hour of play.

However, the team experienced a significant drop in intensity and control during the final stages, allowing Atalanta to narrow the gap through goals from Gianluca Gaetano and Nikola Krstović. This defensive lapse has sparked discussions regarding the physical demands of manager Ruben Amorim’s high-intensity tactical system. While Amorim remains unbeaten in his first seven Serie A games, the team's inability to manage the closing minutes has drawn scrutiny.

Individual performances were mixed; Rabiot was praised for his leadership, while Pervis Estupiñán faced criticism following a difficult substitution. Goalkeeper Mike Maignan was credited with crucial saves to prevent an equalizer during stoppage time. Following the match, Rabiot described the drop in performance as a “mental issue rather than a physical one,” while Ramos noted the necessity for improved game management.
