The ACC Men’s Premier Cup 2026 progressed through its group stages and into the knockout rounds in Malaysia. During the group stage, Nepal competed in Group A, including a fixture against Bahrain where Nepal elected to bowl first. Following consistent performances in the group stage, Nepal advanced to the semifinals to face Oman. The tournament serves as a qualification pathway for the 2027 Men’s Asia Cup. Nepal ultimately claimed the tournament title by defeating the United Arab Emirates by 44 runs in the final at Bayuemas Oval. After electing to bat, Nepal posted 313 for nine, anchored by Aasif Sheikh’s 102 runs and supported by contributions from Arjun Kumal, Gulshan Jha, and captain Rohit Paudel. In response, the UAE was bowled out for 269 in 50.1 overs. Despite an unbeaten century from UAE’s Rahul Chopra, Nepal’s bowling attack, led by Karan KC with three wickets, secured the victory and guaranteed Nepal’s qualification for the Asia Cup.
