Access Holdings Plc has reported significant progress in its sustainability initiatives alongside administrative delays in its financial reporting. According to its 2025 Sustainability Report, the group increased its green asset portfolio to N92.14 billion, up from N22 billion in 2021. The company also reported a 28.47% reduction in operational greenhouse gas emissions compared to a 2022 baseline, attributed largely to the solarisation of branches and ATMs in Nigeria. Additionally, the firm expanded its sustainability-focused loan book to $1.269 billion and issued N67.4 billion in gender-lens loans. Separately, Regarding its financial reporting, the group announced a delay has faced delays in releasing its audited interim financial statements for the first half of 2026. The delay is due to the finalization of the audit process and the need for approval from the Central Bank of Nigeria. The Nigerian Exchange Limited has (NGX) granted an extension for the company to file these results by September 30, 2026. On August 27, 2026, the Board of Directors approved the group’s audited interim consolidated and separate financial statements for the half-year ending June 30, 2026. However, the official release remains pending statutory approval from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). Access Holdings intends to publish the statements via the NGX and distribute them to stakeholders once CBN approval is secured. In compliance with NGX rules, the company has entered a closed period, prohibiting directors, insiders, and connected persons from trading in company securities until twenty-four hours after the results are officially released.
