Slovakian singer-songwriter Adéla Jergová has released her debut studio album, ‘Prima’, under Capitol Records. The 11-track project features production from Dylan Brady and Blake Slatkin, with songwriting contributions from Julia Michaels, blending electronic, dance, and theatrical elements. Following the album launch, Adéla released the single ‘Nicole Kidman’, accompanied by a music video directed by Hannah Lux Davis that draws cinematic inspiration from the filmography of actress Nicole Kidman. The video received the actress’s approval and includes specific references to films such as ‘Eyes Wide Shut’, ‘To Die For’, ‘Birth’, and ‘Dogville’, as well as imagery inspired by the 2024 film ‘Babygirl’. To support the release, the artist is set to embark on her first headlining tour, beginning with a North American leg in cities such as New York, Toronto, Los Angeles, and Mexico, with a European and U.K. tour planned for 2027. The release of ‘Prima’ follows the artist’s elimination from the ‘Dream Academy’ competition series, a talent search managed by HYBE and Geffen Records that formed the group Katseye. The album, which includes tracks such as ‘KGB’ produced by The Dare and Dylan Brady, has been described by critics as a ‘tasting menu’ of her musical identity, blending 2000s-inspired pop and R&B. Her international profile has been bolstered by marketing campaigns involving publications such as Vogue Czechoslovakia and Teen Vogue.
