AEK football club coaching transition

Overview

AEK management officially introduced Rubén Segies as the club’s new head coach at the AEK Arena. During his presentation, Segies expressed his intention to pursue victories through attacking performances and noted that the roster was largely complete, despite remaining active in the transfer market.

Following his appointment, Segies shifted focus toward squad integration during a national team break. He worked to incorporate late summer signings, including Sven Keller, Alberto Paleari, and Karim Mrabti, while managing positional decisions at left-back. Additionally, the coaching staff focused on returning midfielder Jeerson Chacón to full fitness following a serious injury.
