AERO Street Food Festival in Skopje

Overview

The second edition of the AERO Street Food Festival took place from September 4 to 8 at Avionche Park in the Aerodrom Municipality of Skopje. Supported by the City of Skopje and the Aerodrom Municipality, the event aimed to establish itself as an urban tradition by combining gastronomy and live music.

The festival featured approximately 20 gastronomic brands. Specific participants included Mustacos and 11: Eleven (Mexican tacos), Loras Sushi, Fat Kitchen, Burgerslut, Jojo’s BBQ, Oljo’s, and Smash Burger, Noa Gyradiko (Mediterranean gyros), Zheshko Kompirche (baked potatoes), and Italian specialties from Bistro 64 and Sorelle. Organizer Darko Panchevski noted that the festival had grown in scale and diversity.

During its first three nights, the festival attracted more than 15,000 visitors. The musical program featured various local artists and DJs, including DJ Milan Serafimov, The Ringtones, DJ Aleksandar Jordanov, Dopamine, and DJ Rizinski, with concluding performances by Fluere, South Park, DJ Ficho, DJ Guardian, Acoustic Division, and Sure Shotz. Organizers also held special promotions to honor the 35th anniversary of Macedonian independence. Entry to the festival was free.
