All Elite Wrestling (AEW) held its debut ‘AEW Grand Slam: France’ event on October 6, 2026, at the Adidas Arena in Paris. The event featured special Grand Slam episodes of Dynamite and Collision. In the Dynamite main event, AEW World Champion Will Ospreay successfully defended his title against Kazuchika Okada. This victory sets the stage for the upcoming WrestleDream event, where Ospreay is scheduled to compete in the inaugural Clockwork Carnage match. Other major championship outcomes included Mercedes Moné retaining the AEW Women’s World Championship against Queen Aminata, Darby Allin defending the TNT Championship against Kyle Fletcher, and Bandido retaining the ROH World Championship against Kofi. During the Collision tapings, the Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) retained the AEW Tag Team Championships against The Dogs (David Finlay and Clark Connors). Andrade El Idolo successfully defended the AEW National Championship against Michael Oku, which resulted in a confrontation with Tommaso Ciampa. In qualification matches for the Clockwork Carnage match at the upcoming WrestleDream event, Samoa Joe defeated Jack Perry, and Mike Bailey secured a victory over Lee Moriarty. The Paris crowd was noted for its high engagement, including the use of the traditional French wrestling chant ‘Simplement deux!’ during near-fall sequences.
