While these tools enhance efficiency, experts caution that AI lacks the “conscience, empathy, flexible thinking, and professional responsibility” necessary for complex human rights cases. Concerns have also been raised regarding data security and AI “hallucinations,” where the technology may produce inaccurate or non-existent legal citations.
