Air France has implemented several enhancements to its premium passenger experience, focusing on both in-flight services and ground facilities. In August 2026, the airline updated its Business Class offerings. This included refined catering, such as monthly refreshed meal boxes on short-haul routes like Basel to Paris, and upgraded cabin hardware on long-haul Airbus A350 flights, including new Stelia Opera platform seats and Starlink Wi-Fi. Following these service updates, the airline opened a new premium lounge at Frankfurt International Airport on September 1, 2026. Located in Terminal 3, the 500-square-meter facility replaces the previous lounge in Terminal 2 and features French-inspired design, dedicated workspaces, and a dining area focused on traditional French cuisine. Operated in collaboration with Global Lounge Network, the lounge provides approximately 120 seats, an open kitchen, and specialized work zones including soundproof booths. Access is available to eligible Business class passengers, Flying Blue Elite Plus members, and select SkyTeam customers. The Frankfurt facility utilizes a signature design with blue, white, and red tones, incorporating vintage airline artwork and furnishings from French designers. Amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, power outlets, USB ports, and TV screens. Additionally, Flying Blue Ultimate members are granted access to an exclusive private section. Additionally, the airline has expanded its capacity to Ezeiza, Argentina. Air France has introduced more flights using the larger Airbus A350 to supplement its existing Boeing 787 service, contributing to a broader capacity growth for the Air France-KLM group, which now operates over 14 weekly flights to the region.
