Çalı Village Film Festival 10th anniversary concludes
The 10th anniversary of the Çalı Village Film Festival (ÇKFF) in the Nilüfer district of Bursa, Turkey, commenced with concluded following a series three-day program of academic screenings, discussions, concerts, workshops, and cultural events. During the closing ceremony, Nilüfer Mayor Şadi Özdemir highlighted the village’s cinematic heritage, noting that the 1934 film ‘Aysel Bataklı Damın Kızı’ was filmed in Çalı, and emphasized the festival’s role in bridging this history with new generations.
