The trulli of Alberobello, Puglia, are distinctive conical stone dwellings that originated in the 15th century. These structures were initially built as dry-stone dwellings designed to be dismantled quickly to evade the Pragmatic de Baronibus tax on new settlements. Following their designation as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the area has transitioned into a major cultural and tourism hub. This heritage is currently being celebrated through the 25th anniversary of the Trulli n’ Beer festival, which coincides with the 30th anniversary of the town’s UNESCO recognition. The ~~festival~~ 2026 edition of the festival, organized by the Pinnacoli association, runs from August 18 to August 29. Held on via Nino Rota, the event features twelve nights of live music, gastronomy, and ~~various beer selections to promote~~ entertainment. To enhance the visitor experience, organizers have implemented a free shuttle service and expanded food options, including a dedicated gluten-free menu in collaboration with AIC Puglia. The festival offers approximately 50 types of draft beer, ranging from local ~~traditions.~~ to international varieties. As the festival approaches its conclusion, musical highlights include traditional Southern Italian performances by Terraròss, who previously drew approximately 10,000 attendees. The event is scheduled to end on August 29 with a Radio Norba DJ show featuring Antonello Gentile, Daniele Colacicco, and Veronica.
