In late July 2026, Algerian carrier Nouris Elbahr Ferries announced a 30% discount on online bookings for its summer Mediterranean routes linking Algeria, France and Spain. The promotion, which applies to trips aboard the Cracovia vessel, covers all six routes between Marseille, Algiers, Alicante and Oran and was aimed at attracting diaspora travelers and holidaymakers during the peak season. A week later, Italian operator GNV launched a separate summer promotion, offering up to 50% off ferry tickets on France-Algeria routes for bookings made before 11 August. The offer applied to 8,000 seats across several lines, including Sète to Béjaïa and Sète to Algiers, with travel possible through December 2026. The promotion also included extra loyalty-programme benefits for myGNV Club members. By mid-August, price reductions continued across maritime and aerial transport to Algeria. GNV, a subsidiary of the MSC Group, introduced a new promotion offering up to 30% off tickets for voyages between Europe and Algeria for bookings made by 28 August. These routes include connections from Sète, France, to Algiers and Bejaia, as well as from Civitavecchia, Italy, to Annaba. Simultaneously, Air Algérie began offering lower fares for flights between Montreal and Algiers as the peak summer season concluded. While summer round-trip prices had exceeded 3,000 CAD in July and August, rates for departures between mid-October and mid-November were listed starting at approximately 1,040.11 CAD. As the summer season concludes, maritime services are undergoing seasonal adjustments and rescheduling. Algérie Ferries (ENMTV) has moved several major crossings, including the Marseille-Skikda and Marseille-Algiers routes, by one day. Corsica Linea is also reducing service frequency on its Marseille-Algiers route, dropping to one departure per week starting mid-September and moving to a bimonthly schedule by late September.
